Full Root-level Access in VPS
When you buy a virtual private servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server includes no hosting Control Panel at all, or if you select cPanel or DirectAdmin throughout the order process. In the first case, you can modify each part of the system using a Secure Shell console, whereas in the second, you will still be able to use SSH in order to connect and to make modifications, but you will also have a graphical interface accessible to control your web content and many of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans a very good choice if you want to run any kind of software that you cannot install in a standard shared website hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect by way of SSH and to manage the content on the server, yet the root access privileges will be more limited.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Hosting
You will have full root-level access to your dedicated server regardless of what plan you choose throughout the registration process, as long as the server is provided with cPanel or DirectAdmin, or with no hosting Control Panel at all. In all of these 3 cases, you will be able to update any part of the software environment in any way you find fit, which makes our server packages suitable for multi-media applications with specific requirements which can't be covered if you use a shared web hosting account. The main difference between these options is that using cPanel or DirectAdmin, you'll have a web-based graphical interface to control many different server-side options and also any site content which you create or upload, whereas when you order the server devoid of Control Panel, you'll have to perform everything with a Secure Shell console or to install a Control Panel of your own liking, provided that it is compatible with the OS which you've chosen during the sign up process. With the third Control Panel option which you will be able to choose on our order page - Hepsia, the root access will be limited.
