A: There are plenty of factors to keep in mind – the overall amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Yet, we do try to perform all website migrations in a 48–hour window. Less sizeable web sites are migrated faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: Yeah. We’ll need to have the name of the web site that you want us to move. We’ll also need a means to log into your old web hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your website.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose literally the same info you have given to your present hosting provider. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how private info is handled.

A: Nope. Your web site will remain fully operational during the transfer. Once everything is done on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is modify your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: No. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we don’t require anything. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–powered hosting platforms. Generally, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your website.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site building platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
